My own lace books
I take written three books on bobbin lace. They are bachelor a Kindle book (an e-book) and in impress. I'm afraid that the printed book costs more than than the e-book.
How to make Bobbin Lace by Jo Edkins: This teaches you to make lace, assuming yous are starting from the very kickoff. It describes the equipment you need (and cheap substitutes!), and takes you through a lot of stitches and techniques in 22 easy patterns. Only 12 pairs of bobbins required throughout!

Bobbin Lace Stitches and Techniques by Jo Edkins: This is a reference volume of the basics. Information technology describes stitches, simple and circuitous grounds, headsides and footsides, and other mysteries such as picots and tallies. It uses lots of diagrams, and pace by step instructions.

Using Color in Bobbin Lace by Jo Edkins: This volume teaches you lot how to use color in Torchon bobbin lace, with 64 patterns and variations. It covers unproblematic grounds, headsides (fans and scallops), footsides, shapes such equally diamonds and zigzags, rose footing and spiders. At that place are explanations for farther ideas, including adapting existing patterns for colour, and a section about color theory. This book is suitable for lacemaking beginners.
